Welcome to St. Marys Parks & Recreation!
"A Great Place to Live, Work, and PLAY!"

The mission of the Parks & Recreation Department is to enrich the lives of our evolving community by providing all-inclusive, year-round recreational activities, facilities, and natural spaces that would instill an appreciation of the outdoors, strengthen community engagement, provide economic benefits, and promote the health and wellness of those living and visiting our City.

By registering or participating in any City of St. Marys Parks & Recreation Department activity or program, you agree to allow the publication of any photo(s) or video(s) taken at the activity, program, or facility. The City of St. Marys, without obligation to provide compensation to those photographed, may use such photographs and videos. Photos and video taken may be used for publication for the City of St. Marys Parks & Recreation Department and how its sponsors deem necessary.

Many programs offered by the City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation Department require a minimum and/or maximum number of participants and have established registration deadlines. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as programs may fill or be canceled based on enrollment.

The City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation Department maintains a two-week refund policy for all programs and rentals that are not canceled by the Department. This includes, but is not limited to, swimming lessons, pool memberships, summer camps, and special events.

If you are no longer able to attend a program for which you have registered, particularly summer camps or swimming lessons, please notify the Department as soon as possible so that the available space may be offered to another participant.

The Department reserves the right to request proof of residency for any household member if misleading or inaccurate information is suspected on a household account, membership, or program registration.

Registration in a program constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to these policies.
No News is Good News:

When you register for any of our programs, do not wait by the phone to hear from us. You will only hear from us if:

1. The class is full
2. The class is cancelled
3. There is a change in time or day
4. There is a change in the location

If you did not hear from our staff, that means the program is on as scheduled and detailed on RecDesk. You may not be reminded of the program date, time, or location after registration.
